Reviews

Volume, rating, and how recent they are. A profile with forty reviews from two years ago ranks below one with fifteen from this month.

Photos

Profiles with recent photos get meaningfully more clicks and calls. Google also treats an active profile as a live business.

Hours and contact

Missing hours, no website link, or a phone number that does not match your site all cost you both rankings and trust.

Completeness

Google rewards profiles that fill in everything available. Empty fields are the cheapest ranking gains most businesses never take.

Business status

A profile marked temporarily closed or permanently closed cannot rank. If something is wrong here, nothing else matters until it is fixed.
